About me

mugI’m a policy analyst passionate about effective action to tackle climate change. Following a degree in Environmental Policy, I worked for the better part of a decade to put this passion into action by contributing to a tough, smart and fair non-profit sector in Canada. (And somehow spent twelve weeks at UNFCCC negotiations in the process). I’m currently putting the finishing touches on another degree and plotting my re-entry into the wonkosphere.

This blog is a space to capture my thoughts on the state of climate policy in Canada and around the world. As a general rule, these thoughts are roughly 74% wonky, 19% sarcastic, 16% fanciful and, hopefully, at least 1% insightful.

Enjoy!

  1. Glad to find you here PJ. I always enjoy your posts. As an engineer, I had to add up your numbers (i.e., 74% wonky and so on), and of course they exceed 100%. Does that mean that some of your sarcastic remarks are also wonky, or fanciful?

    1. Hi Duncan, thanks for reading (and checking the math!).

Yes, there’s definitely some overlap in the categories, but the main point is it adds up to 110%, because I’m corny like that. 🙂
